1. Introduction. Welcome to Promptims ("Promptims," "we," "us," or "our"). Promptims is a community platform operated under the trade name Promptims, subject to applicable Israeli privacy law as well as international data protection regulations where applicable. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data. By registering for or using Promptims, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

2. Data We Collect. We collect the following categories of personal data. Account and identity data: your email address, collected when you sign in via GitHub or any future authentication provider, used for authentication, account management, transactional notifications, and marketing communications; your display name or username, the public handle associated with your account that appears on every prompt you publish and is visible to all visitors; OAuth profile data including basic profile information such as name and avatar provided by your authentication provider when you sign in. User-generated content: prompts, titles, descriptions, tags, and any other content you create, edit, and publish on Promptims; stars, saves, and interactions you make with other users' content. Usage and technical data: we use Vercel Analytics to collect aggregated anonymized usage statistics including page views, referrer URLs, browser type, operating system, and country-level location, which does not personally identify you; IP addresses, session data, and server log information processed by our hosting infrastructure. Cookies and similar technologies: we use essential cookies strictly necessary for authentication and session management, which cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality, and analytics cookies set by Vercel Analytics to measure site performance and usage patterns in an aggregated privacy-respecting manner. By using Promptims you consent to the placement of these cookies.

3. How We Use Your Data. All data collected by Promptims belongs to and is owned by Promptims. We may use your data for any of the following purposes and reserve the right to use it for additional purposes at our sole discretion subject to applicable law: providing, operating, and maintaining the Promptims platform; authenticating your identity and securing your account; displaying your display name publicly on every prompt you create or interact with; sending transactional emails including account verification, security alerts, and activity notifications; sending marketing and promotional emails about Promptims features, new content, and updates, from which you may opt out at any time via the unsubscribe link included in every marketing email; analyzing usage patterns to improve performance, features, and user experience; moderating content to enforce our Terms and Conditions and acceptable use policies; complying with legal obligations and responding to lawful requests from authorities; any other purpose that Promptims determines serves its legitimate business interests, provided we notify you of material changes via an updated Privacy Policy.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure. We share your data in the following circumstances: with the Promptims team, where your email address and account data are accessible to Promptims personnel for operational and support purposes; with service providers including Neon for database hosting, Vercel for infrastructure and analytics, and GitHub for OAuth login, each of which processes data on our behalf under their respective privacy policies; publicly, where your display name and any prompt content you publish are visible to all visitors of the platform including unauthenticated users; for legal requirements, where we may disclose data if required by law, court order, or governmental authority; in the event of a business transfer such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, where your data may be transferred to the acquiring entity. We do not sell your personal data to third-party advertisers.

5. Data Ownership. By submitting content to Promptims including prompts, descriptions, tags, and any other material, you acknowledge and agree that all such data is owned by and belongs to Promptims. Promptims has full permission to store, use, reproduce, modify, distribute, display, and exploit such data for any purpose without additional compensation to you.

6. Data Retention. We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as necessary to provide the service. If you request account deletion, we will delete your account and all associated prompts and content within approximately 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention, legal compliance, or backup retention cycles. Anonymized aggregated analytics data may be retained indefinitely.

7. Account Deletion and Your Rights. To request deletion of your personal data and account, contact us at support@promptims.com. To opt out of marketing emails, use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or contact support@promptims.com. We will respond to deletion requests within 30 days.

8. Age Restriction. Promptims is intended exclusively for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you are under 18, do not use or register on Promptims. If we become aware that we have collected data from a user under 18, we will delete that data promptly. 9. International Data Transfers. Promptims is operated primarily from Israel and uses infrastructure provided by Vercel and Neon which may process data in the United States and other countries. By using Promptims, you consent to the transfer of your data to countries outside your country of residence which may have different data protection laws.

10. Security. We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Changes to This Policy. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the last updated date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify you by email or by a prominent notice on the platform. Your continued use of Promptims after any change constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
